Technical Overview

Product Description

FRANK ThermLine pressure pipes are designed for underground house connections and ring mains in cold local heating networks. Our high-quality ThermLine pipes and ThermLine Loop pipes are suitable for efficient heat transport due to their excellent thermal properties. In addition, they can be laid without a sand bed, are low in corrosion and incrustation and have an extremely long service life.

ThermLine Loop: in order to save resources, the largest part — the core layer — of ThermLine Loop pipes consists of pure PE 100 regranulate. New, high-quality PE 100-RC material is used for the thinner outer layer and the media-carrying inner layer.

With the Full Notch Creep Test the resistance to slow crack growth is tested. According to PAS 1075, the PE 100-RC moulding compounds have to achieve a service life of 8,760 hours, which is almost 30 times longer than that of PE 100.

Our ThermLine-RC and ThermLine-RC-Loop pipes are manufactured in Germany using the most modern production facilities and the highest quality materials. This ensures the consistently high quality and long service life of our products.
