The FOX tapping valve SDR 11 is a tapping valve made of PE 100-RC for water, gas and hydrogen networks. It is designed for full drilling, and a complete opening and closing cycle takes 61 turns.
The range covers 22 combinations: main pipe dimensions D1 from 63 mm to 250 mm with a branch outlet D2 of 32 mm or 63 mm. The welding range is SDR 9-11 up to D1 90 mm and SDR 9-17.6 from D1 110 mm. Every combination carries its own FOX article number, listed with the published dimensions below.

Material and fields of application
FOX tapping valves SDR 11 are made of PE 100-RC and are intended for water, gas and hydrogen networks. The raw material complies with the requirements of EN 1555 and EN 12201, and every valve carries the manufacturer’s traceability marking.
Full drilling and operation
The valve is designed for full drilling; a complete drilling, opening and closing cycle takes 61 turns.
At SDR 11 the maximum operating pressure is 16 bar for water and 10 bar for gas and hydrogen. The minimum required strength (MRS) of the material is 10 MPa.
